I’ve been a satisfied Terminx customer over 20 years. Dehumidifier was installed. David Cushman, Zackery Marshall, and Joshua Scroggins did a great job with the install. They care about their work. They didn’t mind explaining the process and answering questions along the way. They cleaned the work area and left it in better shape than they found it. They get a 10 star rating. Unfortunately I am not satisfied with the dehumidifier. It’s supposed to be a very good unit but it’s too loud. SANTA-FE Compact 70. I have sleep issues and am used to a very quiet sleeping environment in my home. The noise from this unit has changed all that. It is coming through my floors and walls and is louder than the air coming through my HVAC vents which is very quiet. I spoke with Paul, General Manger today, at the El Dorado Arkansas location. He is just as nice as his team. The plan is to move the unit to see if that helps. If not, I can’t possibly live with the noise. I didn’t sleep well the first night after installing on 11-05-2025. Tired today and having problems sleeping tonight. I’ll probably be a zombie in a few days. Might have to get a hotel room for some rest. I called Terminix 800 Customer service and explained the situation. They were very understanding. Just wanted to make sure I get everything documented. Will give unit about 10 days and if I have no relief I’ll have no choice but to have Terminix uninstall and just open my vents back up. I watched an HVAC YouTube video that said HVAC ducts could be attached to the intake and exhaust side of the dehumidifier and that usually quite a the sound. I will share this with Paul. Not the crews fault. No issue with them. Wish the dehumidifier worked as quiet as this great crew. I would be loving life.

Edit 2: I did receive a call finally but still not very interested in going with terminix any more. Edit 10/14/25: First thanks for the reply terminix and someone did call to set up a new appointment that was supposed to be today between 4-5pm. No one showed up again so I will be going with someone else who will actually show up. Not even a phone call. Don’t bother contacting me again. If I could give less than one star I probably would after this. Had an appointment set up to get an estimate for pest removal and to find where they’re coming in and no one ever showed up or called.

I finally got Donald Calk back as my Terminix rep. Donald worked with me years ago for my termite inspection. I’m very happy to have him back. Terminix please stop changing up people that represent you.

I called and they came the next day, and I paid the same day they came, but it’s been well over a week and not one person has notified me since. Quick to get my money, but delay on the service. If I don’t hear anything back today, I’m requesting a full refund and contacting Orkin.

Danny is always very thorough, he offers great advice on certain things we ask about. He is very knowledgeable of his job. I do like the fact that I get a text message the day before. I will give him a 10/10

Donald Calk me to see if appointment time was convenient. He let me know he was in the area and he arrived on time. He was very friendly and checked everything for termites and told every thing was good and thanked me for using Terminix. I couldn't ask for a nicer man. He was very polite and friendly.

Dewayne is wonderful! He ensures our needs are met and consistently exceeds expectations. I appreciate nature, but I'm not fond of insects. He diligently minimizes the presence of pests, and we are incredibly grateful for his efforts.

Worst experience ever! They did not show up for several (4 or 5) appointments where they were supposed to finish a job they started. This resulted in ruining of insulation they left on the ground, approximately $600 worth. They told me the cost would be a certain amount but charged an additional almost $1900, which they forged our signature to. . They flat out lied! I waited home for hours and one guy had the nerve to say he knocked on the door and I didn’t answer. We have cameras front and back of our house and he did not show up. I have texts of the guy saying he’d be there at a certain time but he didn’t show up. These guys are scam artists. I’m really disappointed! I expected better. And before you tell me to call someone at the main office about this I already have and haven’t heard from them. You suck Terminex.
