We attempted to schedule an inspection three different times within a week and each time, the person was a no call, no show. After our given window the first two times, we got a message stating we missed our window and would have to reschedule. My husband was home both times and no one called him or rang the doorbell. Today I gave it a try. I was home the entire time of the window I was given and no one showed up. When I called to follow up, the person I spoke to tried to contact the person coming to do the inspection and wasn’t able to. I was told he left a voicemail and I should be getting a call within 15 minutes. It’s been over an hour and no one has called. Looking at other reviews it looks like this is a common problem with this company. Go with a different company.

I made an appointment online with Terminix after discovering mice in my home. I picked the next available appointment which was about a week out on a Monday. I don’t work from home, so I took the day off to be here. My appointment was scheduled from 10a-12p. I waited patiently for them to show up and noon came and went without even so much as a call. I called the 800 number on the email I got when making the appointment. The person on the phone was polite, but explained they almost never see the online appointments and he didn’t think the tech would be showing up today. He also said it was “peculiar” I took the day off work for this. When I explained I don’t work from home and this was what was available he noted this is why the online system is no good. He offered to rebook the appointment, but I was done dealing with them at that point. Good luck to whoever uses this company, I hope your experience is better than mine. I’d offer to let the owner or management contact me, but it sounds like online isn’t really their thing.

I tried to schedule a Terminix appointment to deal with a wasp problem at the home of my 85-year old mother in Edina. They canceled on me last minute so I told them I didn’t want to reschedule and I went with Orkin, who competently dealt with the problem. Two weeks later, I just received a text that they have an appointment scheduled for tomorrow. I called to again tell them I didn’t want their service, but was told I would have to call back Monday, the day off, to cancel. Don’t use Terminix. It is a scam service with an incompetent scheduling staff.
