Unauthorized Removal of $1,068 from My Account I am extremely frustrated with Terminix after an unauthorized charge of $1,068 was taken from my checking account on October 4, 2024. I had only agreed to a payment of $29.75. When I contacted Terminix, they acknowledged the error but informed me it would take up to 3 days for the funds to be returned. After 10 days with no refund, I called again and spoke with a customer service representative who was unprofessional and belittling. Despite previous assurances that my funds were being processed, I was told I needed to "understand the process." I requested management to contact me, but that never happened. To make matters worse, I had to insist on participating in a customer service survey, which reflected my negative experience. Terminix has not only made a fraudulent charge but continues to withhold my funds. This is unacceptable and shameful! Update: On October 25, 2024 I provided an email to [email protected] as instructed with my service address, phone number and copy of the google review. As of today, October 28, 2024, I have not received any contact from Terminix AND still no return of my $1068 that Terminix illegally removed from my checking account. SHAMEFUL AND DISGUSTING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have zero complaints about Terminix our technician, Alyssa, does a wonderful job. They are always timely when we put in a request. They are very respectful and professional. Residents have no complaints either and never have any issues after they come out

Matthew Kipe was our Terminix technician recently and he clearly earned five stars from us based on his thorough and effective treatment of an ant infestation in our house. Matt even offered to check with us a week later to make sure that the problem was resolved since his initial visit.. thank you Matt!

Terminix is great! We've had them since we bought our house. They come out whenever I call or have a bug issue, even wasps! And of course we have their termite service to keep our house safe. The prices haven't gone up over the years nearly as much as a lot of other services; so for great customer service call Terminix!

Terminix never called me back after I initially requested my termite quote/inspection over the phone. After waiting two weeks I called again, and was able to schedule a free inspection and quote. The inspector called to ask if he could come several hours early, which was fine, and arrived when he said he would. This is where his reliability ends. The "inspection" did not involve a full walk around the outside of the house, nor a full inspection of the crawlspace. He opened the door, poked his head in for less than a minute, made two incorrect observations (that the crawl under the extension connects/is visible from the main crawl, and that the moisture barrier was new/in good shape), and told me he'd have a quote for us in ten minutes. I can't fathom why the quote took longer than the inspection considering he took no measurements, and when probed about the price said there's little if any difference in price between houses under 5k square feet. Despite being alone, and presumably out of training, the inspector was far from knowledgeable. He was in and out in an unreasonable amount of time, and left me feeling unconfident with the job that his company would have done, had I chosen to sign up for services. Here are a few incorrect things he said while selling me termite/pest control: - Nothing can be done to prevent termites (short of pesticides) - Mice cannot be kept out of the home, only trapped and removed - A termite pre-treat (standard with newly constructed homes) is only effective for a year - My attic did not require inspection (he said 'they only want us to look at that so we can sell you insulation' ... Despite going on about mice the whole time he was inspecting for termites) - Terminix will repair any termite damage (everything I'm reading says they only retreat, not repair, and this guarantee depends on them FINDING termites, which I don't see how he could do without actually looking for them). I am extremely happy with my decision not to use Terminix. After he left, I found live termites in my driveway in about 10 minutes of earnest investigation, which he did not bother to do.
