We are extremely disappointed in Terminix’s lack of transparency and urgency regarding our home’s vulnerability during our tenting for termites. No one at the company explained to us that we could be robbed between the time the gas stops and the crew comes to remove the tent. Although we took many valuables, Terminix was less than vocal that break ins happen. They also said, “Leave your home security alarm OFF.” This ensured we would lose everything. The thieves broke in through our back door and took EVERYTHING THAT MEANT ANYTHING TO US! Including heirlooms, dog tags & collars from our beloved, deceased pets, jewelry, financial information, expensive tools, etc. The thieves have used our financials to steal from us online as well. We are angry, heartbroken, and reached out multiple times to ask for Terminix to verbally and in writing to be very clear on removing EVERYTHING you care about. They blew us off and said they could not change it. Terminix has still never reached out to apologize. They simply took our payment and walked away. When I called to talk to anyone in charge, I was told other families sleep in trailers, cars, or hire their own security personnel. TOO LITTLE, TOO LATE! SHAME ON TERMINIX! PROTECT YOURSELVES!

We’re so happy with our yearly inspection done this time by Mr. Ryan Pasion 10/16/24, his tasks were above and beyond for a thorough inspection even going up around the attic. We’re looking forward for our preventative termite treatments as we believe that it’s done every 5 years and we are due soon. It’s worth renewing and keeping the yearly termite insurance even the price keeps going up because they are always there to serve when needed.

I am disappointed with the service provided by Terminix. Despite advertising quarterly service with the option to cancel at any time, the company bills its clients monthly, three months in advance, without informing them properly. When attempting to cancel the service, I was transferred to multiple representatives and ultimately unable to obtain a refund for the unused monthly fee. As a business owner, I believe it is crucial to prioritize transparency and customer satisfaction. I recommend exploring alternative options for pest control services. Local supervisors and technicians are wonderful knowledgeable in great communication. Stay away from their telephone support/sales people. They are misinformed high pressured and incomplete in their contracting. Make sure everything is set to you appears in writing before you begin service. Technicians are great as I say, send pictures of the work. They did contact you ahead of time. Text you when they’re done. If you’re home, they’ll walk you through exactly what they did technicians did not upsell services. I did not need services that they don’t even supply.

I contacted Terminex on Thu, July 18, was told their first available appointment was Sat, July 20 between 10-12. I took the appointment and noticed the company charged my Visa $266. Sat morning at 10:30 am, I contacted customer service to confirm my appointment and was told I was on their schedule. When no one showed up by noon I again called customer service . She called and emailed the local office to see why there was a delay and could not get ahold of either Managers. When we were on the phone she noticed the local office rescheduling my appointment to Tues, July 23 between 7-9 am. I never received a call from anyone that my appointment was cancelled. Around 12:50 pm, Ricky from the Petaluma office called and said the tech called in sick at 9 am and my appointment was canceled and would be rescheduled but did not know when there was an opening since they were booked a week out. I asked why I was not contacted earlier if they had to cancel, he said he had been trying to contact customers. I find it hard to believe that it took 4 hours for him to contact me because 1 tech could not have that many appointments that it takes 4 hrs to call me to reschedule. This is the worst customer service experience I have ever had and would never use them in the future.

Very disappointing experience. I had them scheduled to come out today yet no one has shown up or called to let us know what’s going on. They were supposed to be here from 3-5. So I waited two hours and they didn’t come. I called the headquarters and they said they can reschedule to July 13th which is 10 days from now. Won’t be doing business with Terminix. Thanks for nothing and wasting my time today.

The once famous Terminix brand & institution has grown sclerotic and ossified and transmogrified into a bloated, lazy bureaucracy. Why were they insistent on rendering anti-mosquito services on the perimeter while I had painters on the premises? They were adamant that their precision nozzles wouldn’t pose a risk to anyone in the area even though their own employee would be masked & protected; The optics of what they proposed would be egregious. Incredibly unethical behavior from the entire breadth of their staff as this argument was sanctioned from the top brass. They continued to exercise the same “moronic” circular logic until I re-iterated my qualms and conveyed the irrationality in their reasoning and felt I was arguing with an obstinate spouse..Terminix will hastily cut corners to meet their quotas and will sacrifice safety, health and principles for profit. Not only did they not exercise sound judgement to indemnify a patron from extraneous culpability w/ 3rd party painters but they imparted an immoral and unscrupulous smear on the Terminix brand by defiling the legions of honest employees across the country representing Terminix. Goodbye ?

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY 0 or of 10 cannot recommend. They don’t show up for appointments. When they have they have been inept or with out the proper equipment and training, so they set up another appointment which they don’t show up for and the cycle starts over. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. You are better off with getting termite spray from Home Depot. You might not have a clue what to do with it but there is YouTube. At least the job will get done. I cannot stress this enough DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I’ve been trying to get a representative out to check termite traps and fix a termite problem for a month and I’m still trying DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

One star is being generous. I initially scheduled for a termite inspection with Terminex and they sent Brian Getnhardt lic#66297 on 04/11/2024 for the initial inspection. He couldn’t access my attic because the access point was too narrow, instead of calling someone who could fit, he said he couldn’t tell me for certain if I had termites or not. Which was the first red flag. Happily take my money without a definitive answer to my pesty problem, which I reluctantly proceeded with the rest of the pest control services. I was supposed to have someone come the following day 04/12/2024 which was a no call no show. I contacted the customer service department, which saw that I was on the schedule, but still to no avail had no contact with the pest control. I was in told on the 20th they would come for the termite traps, and also the bug spray for interior and exterior, with another no-show no call. (Mind you now this is two days I’ve taken off of work waiting around for bug spray) the following day on the 22nd Terminix came to install the termite traps which entailed them drilling into the concrete on my porch, leaving a catastrophic mess of debris and dust that was sprayed into my neighbors beautiful manicured backyard. Yet still no service of bug spray has been rendered after a week and a half of waiting. Finally on 04/25/2024 my Terminex appointment, followed through from 10 o’clock to 12, he showed up at 9 AM, and I had no knowledge of needing to leave the house for 3 to 4 hours with my animals not a single person let me know I wouldn’t be able to be home while this interaction taking place (which is fine, but notice is absolutely necessary). The gentlemen never introduced himself and asked me which areas needed to be eradicated of flying ants (like the initial report wasn’t clear?) I returned to my home after he sprayed for 10 minutes (I watched my cameras) not only was the house not completely sprayed. The outdoor backyard and patio area wasn’t even touched and there was diluted liquid sprayed all over my shutters, on the floor of the living room in random allotted piles that look like urine on my beautiful wood floors, my bedroom window wasn’t sprayed whatsoever. Not only would I not recommend this company whatsoever, I want a full refund.
