I'm writing this review on behalf of my parents. If I could leave less than a star review I would. It all started off with one of their technicians coming out for their annual maintenance, we got the notification that they would be there in 7 minutes, and then all of a sudden we got a notification within that time frame that the inspection was complete. No one ever showed up to our residence, nor was any inspection done. We contacted the technician to inquire what was going on, and they stated that our address was incorrect in their system and it sent them to a different house and they had done the inspection there. It's impressive that such a thorough inspection was done in less than a minute. She then arrived at our house, and completed the inspection in about 5 minutes, and had such laser eye vision that she could see through bushes, from a walkway about 15 feet away of any potential subterranean termites, but gave us a clean bill that there were no issues. We contacted Terminix, and they sent out a gentleman the next day as we had doubts that all was well after that "thorough" inspection. He was definitely friendlier and spent almost 30-40 minutes inspecting the house, going into our attic, along with our crawl space and no one in the many years we have had Terminix has ever done. Which makes us wonder what the standard operating procedure is, as it does not seem consistent. Upon his examination from the day prior where we were told there were no issues, we now had termites, along with other pests. It's amazing what a day will do. However one set of the termites where he claimed was tunneling seemed suspicious. It looked similar to some insulation that was on a different part of the house, but we were assured it was indeed termites. We then had to have another contractor come out to go over the plan for what was found during this visit. Our 3rd visitor was the nicest of the bunch, and was also thorough in his review. He did confirm we had issues in our attic, but confirmed what was tunneling termites, was indeed insulation. There was evidence of termites in another area, but it was not nearly as dire as it was made out to be. We decided on a course of action, that would happen within a couple of days. However we've now had three sets of opinions, one with no issues, one with all the issues, and one with just some issues, all within a week of one another. They came out to perform the treatment, which included blowing insulation in our attic. There was some mess left around afterwards, and they did not have a vacuum to clean anything, only a blower (which I don't know how effective that's going to be in the middle of our house) so we ended up cleaning up the insulation in our house but that's neither here nor there. Either way the work was done, and we thought that was the end of it. Our AC unit, which had been performing just fine that morning prior to their work, had a fan that would no longer turn on. We thought it could be an intake, or what have you so we contacted our AC technician to come out the next day, as no one likes to have no AC in Florida! He comes out, and it turns out the AC unit had been turned off in the attic, so all he had to do was flip the switch and go on his merry way, and we are now out $179.10, for something that should have been on a checklist with Terminix. We contacted Terminix about this new issue to see if we can get reimbursed, and they essentially said that it's our fault, and that they never touch the AC units and they are never turned off. So it just magically turned itself off (probably in fear of insulation being blown near it, or the magical insulation termites). Suffice to say the customer service that was provided was subpar, and while there were technicians that tried to make up for the shoddy work of their predecessors, it was an overall horrible experience. We look forward to not using their services again in the future once this contract runs out. So do yourself a favor, and look for anyone other than Terminix.

My Terminix Technician Kandy Mummert has faithfully serviced my home for years. I always get a courtesy notification several days before my appointments and at that time she asks if I am having any issues. Kandy is mindful that I have a bird feeder for wild birds and she avoids that area. I have even seen her move water dishes on the porch to avoid any contamination. If I have an issue before the next appointment (which I can only remember 1) she will text the same day when she will come by. Thank you Kandy for being so dependable and that you work for a company like Terminix that I have depended on and used for years! Nancy R

Unprofessional, inept, computer-challenged, uncaring, unapologetic (insincere "I'm sorry ma'am..." is rehearsed monotone company line), NO SHOWS!!!!! I'm just out of 1 surgery preparing for another, set aside all therapy & Dr appts to get horrific termite issue addressed. To make appt took 45min on phone w/nice rep who couldn't work faulty computer & just kept silent. Thought I was disconnected. Appt FINALLY made, I waited through 2 1/2 hrs of 3hour appt window, & called to confirm. Phone system cut me off, eventual employee asked for all info But my account number, then blamed Me because I gave her association phone #, which is what They said to use! And My appt? Ummmm, there IS NONE!!!! LIVID! "I'm sorry" as if she was rehearsed in monotone insincere talking points. DO NOT USE THEM! Last time they did this for a group appt (they insisted on!) for myself, elderly frail neighbor, life-saving cardiac nurse neighbor & young neighbor On Chemo! All rearranged our skeds for them & they NoShowed TWICE! They DON'T CARE!!!!

We've used this company for many years. Before we used terminix we used to have bugs, not anymore. Our technician is Jorge, he's very thorough, honest, polite and reliable. We're informed of the day he's coming and the time he should arrive, it never changes from the scheduled appointment. I hope they won't reroute him. ?

Jorge is always a pleasure. He contacts us the night before his scheduled visit so we ensure we are home when he arrives. He is also respectful when he arrives at our home and wears booties to avoid bringing dirt into the home. I highly recommend Jorge and Terminix as a preventative measure to avoid an outbreak.
