I recently cancelled the contract I had in place for 2+ years and was told the local office would contact me to find out why. No one has contacted me. At first, service was great. The technician was out quarterly and the insect problem inside my house definitely improved. However, last year I noticed a few wasps in my master bedroom. The technician completely ignored my text messages about this issue, even though he had told me to contact him directly any time I noticed increased pest activity. When he arrived for a quarterly service, I mentioned I thought maybe he didn't work there anymore since he hadn't replied after he, once again, told me I could contact him directly. We are all busy, especially in the customer service industry, so I let it go. This year, the wasp issue returned and my husband was stung in the middle of the night. I sent a text to the technician directly. He never replied. I then called customer service in the event the technician no longer worked there or was on vacation. The representative scheduled an appointment for the potential wasp nest to be addressed. The tech, who does still work for Terminix, was unavailable for 2 weeks, and when he arrived, he was not even aware he was here for a wasp problem. He said he was here for the quarterly service. I showed him a picture of the wasps that have been inside. He told us that these are called mud daubers, they are not harmful to humans, and it's only considered an "infestation" if there are 5 or more. We told him that my husband had been stung, but maybe he wasn't listening. He said he would "look around" the house to see what he could find and would let us know. He left, and I never received a follow up. I'm not sure how a technician can check for wasps inside a home if they don't look inside the home. Today, I saw a few wasps outside the master bedroom window, so I went outside and immediately saw at least 5 wasps flying in and out of the attic vent. It is clear the technician hardly assessed. I have spent a ton of money on Terminix's services, to include a preventative contract, a carpenter ant removal service, and getting the attic insulated when I bought my home in 2022. I am extremely disappointed that 1. no one ever contacted me to see what happened and 2. that I very easily found the entry point and now I will have to pay another service provider to handle this issue.

Very bad customer service. Whenever i ask, their answer is I don’t know. They are supposed to come to inspect our attics since we have animals inside plus we have excursion plan. But no show up x3. Cannot even talk to manager per customer agent. They are just taking my money and do not send technician when needed. I would like to dispute the charge. Very very disappointed —————————- On top of that, we had insulation from Terminix too. They did horrible job. I actually found out when we had a squirrel came to our attic and Terminix didn’t show up x3. So we hired local guy who can take squirrel out to house. He checked our attic and he said Terminix did horrible job. Insulation was done less than 2 yrs. I paid more than $2500. I got 3 quotes from other insulation companies and all are saying Terminix did very bad insulation job that we need to redo it. I called the Naperville office manager regarding this, so they sent technician out and told me that Everything is Fine! But it is NOT. I called cooperate office and asked to CALL me. But never called me. And said they sent email. But I never received it. They are lying to the customer. I will report to BBB. So frustrated

We had them confirmed on a Saturday from 3:00-5:00 to inspect our siding for possible termite damage. For some reason, they showed up 24 hours early on a Friday and we were not home. So they said they would come back on Saturday. That Saturday afternoon, the technician called me and said "We aren't working that late so we aren't coming today and will be there Monday." This is not acceptable. So I called customer service, and they said they would send out another technician between 5:00-7:00pm that day. We waited around for 2 hours, and no one showed up. I called customer service to find out what happened, and I was on hold for 30 minutes so I just hung up. They completely wasted our time and provided horrible customer service. I will never consider this company again.

I can always count on Ryan Hall to be up front and honest with me about what he is doing around my house and what needs to be done coming up with different seasons. He always tells me not to let the dogs out for awhile just case. He’ll come in a treat the inside if I see ants, spiders, etc….He is very friendly and someone I can trust and always asked me how the family is doing. Such a great guy!

The inspector who came out to our house lied about 1) a termite problem, 2) possible length of treatment plans, and 3) payment plans. Mr. Robert Morales said that we had a termite problem [though he could not find any termites but only wood damage on an outside pergola that we pointed out], that the only solution was a one year plan for almost $2200 that had to be paid up front. I subsequently called Terminex and they indicated that 1) there were other plans available, and 2) it could be paid monthly. I have a witness to these bald face lies. On top of that, I invited other professionals out the next day who indicated that there was no termite activity at all: only the damage from a now inactive carpenter ant colony. These knowledgeable professionals [Pest Arrest in Oswego] demonstrated that conclusion by showing similar markings in a nearby tree. Their conclusion: no termites, no active carpenter ants, no charge. Avoid the scam artists and fraudulent "professionals" at Terminex. They should be put out of business for their shameful consumer rip off business.
