I contacted Terminix on June 27 to request urgent pest control service. The sales representative assured me they could come out the very next day (June 28, between 1–5 PM) and even promised a 30-minute heads-up before arrival. She also explained their subscription service — pay a montly fee, and they’ll respond anytime there’s an issue. It sounded great, so I signed up and was promptly charged $192. On June 28, I waited at home from 1:00 to 4:30 PM with no call, no text, and no technician. I finally called customer service for an update and was told my appointment had been "confirmed" for Sunday, June 29 at 8 PM, which made no sense, especially since they later admitted they don’t even provide service that late. When I asked how I could be “confirmed” for a time I never agreed to or was notified about, the representative couldn’t answer. I requested to speak with a supervisor. The supervisor, Shannon, initially claimed she couldn’t find any record of my confirmed time or payment. After pressing her to double-check (since her colleague had just seen the notes), she eventually found a record showing that the salesperson had requested June 28, but it was not actually scheduled. Instead, I was placed on the calendar for July 8, again, with no notification sent to me. The phantom “June 29 at 8 PM” appointment? A mistake. Bottom Line: Terminix was unreliable, uncommunicative, and disorganized throughout this experience. I was charged $192, given inaccurate appointment info, and left with no service... all without a single courtesy call or update. Avoid this company. Their systems and communication breakdowns make them impossible to trust.

I recently contacted Terminix to perform an emergency bat removal from my home in Leawood, Kansas. Their response was immediate, and their technician did an excellent job. He was well educated on bat mitigation, and he went above and beyond to ease my concerns with any re-entry into the home. They quickly came back to perform a thorough exclusion of my home. I am very impressed with their professionalism. I would strongly recommend hiring Terminix if you have, or suspect you have, a bats in your home. Five star!

We were concerned about termites we found near our house. We scheduled an inspection and were so blessed to have Jake come to check our home. He was professional, friendly and very knowledgeable. He spent over two hours here because we also asked about a potential mouse issue and carpenter bees. He willingly checked out all our potential issues and helped us save money in the long run. It was truly a great experience and we were thankful for his expertise! Definitely recommend!

I cannot imaging a worse example of customer service than my experience with Terminix. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I hired Terminix to exterminate mice from my house. They were unsuccessful! In addition, their customer service is absolutely terrible. And the workmanship and professionalism were the worst. The work that I contracted Terminix to complete was removal of my attic insulation and replacement with new anti-pest insulation, along with installation of protections against mice entry into my house. I paid Terminix over $15,000 in August 2024 and they still have not completed the work despite multiple requests. I am now considering legal action for breach of contract. The old insulation was not completely removed from my attic and new insulation was not properly installed in a significant portion of my attic. Other construction work that was included in the contract scope of work was not completed, such as work on attic vents and door seals. I have contact Terminix multiple times without resolution of my complaints. They simply ignore me. They got my money and now do not care to finish their work. I will NEVER use Terminix again and cannot recommend strongly enouch that NO ONE ever use this company. ADDENDUM: Terminex sent the standard reply to my review and asked that I reply to them on an email... but I had already done that and THE EMAIL IS NOT DELIVERABLE. Way to go Terminix... another customer service blunder. YOU ARE THE WORST.
