This was, without question, the worst experience I have ever had with any service provider. I have never left less than a 5-star Google review for any other business, and that includes buying a used car from a dealership. Let that sink in before you hire Terminix for anything, especially a larger or more complicated job. What I got was 6 months of poor communication, delay, indifference, and zero accountability. I raised legitimate questions about workmanship and quality on a sensitive, expensive crawlspace job and was met with 0 actionable follow-up for weeks. When you have thousands of dollars tied up in a job involving infestation remediation and your home, that is completely unacceptable. The situation got even worse when Terminix eventually admitted they could not complete my crawlspace jobs they sold me. This was not some hidden condition that appeared midway through the work. It should have been obvious from the beginning with a basic inspection and a simple measurement of the crawlspace clearance. Instead, they sold the work first and figured out feasibility later. That left me paying for “half” of a remediation solution that made little practical sense. Then came the billing and refund nightmare. After all of this, getting the agreed adjustment/refund actually processed became its own separate ordeal. It took endless follow-ups with the branch and repeated useless contacts with corporate customer service. Corporate’s entire role seemed to be taking notes, “adding them to the file,” and telling me they would contact the branch. That accomplished essentially nothing. They seemed to be intentionally set-up to avoid a real escalation path or ownership. No one who seemed both able and willing to actually fix the problem. My experience with Terminix dragged on for more than six months. That is absurd. No customer should have to spend that kind of time chasing a company just to get basic responses, basic accountability, and billing corrected to reflect what was already agreed. Even after finally bringing it to an end myself, I am still not confident in the quality of the work I was left with. Avoid this company. Especially if the job is important, expensive, or requires any competence in communication, project management, or accountability.

1 star is too high of a rating, but Google doesn't let you give 0 stars. If you are even considering doing business with Terminix, don't! I have been calling Terminix every day for a month now to cancel a contract that I didn't even sign. They are charging me monthly fees for a termite service when all I wanted was to have a squirrel removed from my wall. The tech also duct taped a trap to my wall to "keep the squirrel out." The squirrel has since ripped it down and is keeping my kids up at night by running through the walls of my home. They charged me $3,000 for this. They are also charging me $112 a month for termite removal... I don't have termites. I have been told that the manager, Brett Elfstrom, will be calling me to fix this. He has not done so. This company is a complete and total scam. I will be pursuing this with my lawyer because this is completely unacceptable.

We had this company come for bed bugs. We were quoted a price for three bedrooms, a living room, and a finished basement space. Only half the living room was treated and the basement wasn't even looked at by the person treating (they document what they check/ treat and it was not listed). After weeks of trying to get in touch with someone other than the call center, I disputed part of the charge on my credit card. Then weeks later someone from the office finally returned my call once the charge dispute when through. Months after I got a bill for the disputed amount, which led to weeks of arguing over the price due to not treating what was agreed upon. They then said they were going to send it to collections. Horrible company to work with. Would never use them again or recommend them to anyone.

Fred Celeste originally came to my home for a follow-up inspection after I called to check on an attic insulation job that was taking much longer than expected. The attic space was only about 900 square feet, so I was surprised that the project had dragged on for more than three days. When Fred first arrived, he was professional, informative, and seemed knowledgeable about the process. I appreciated his clear explanations and expected that his presence would help ensure the job was completed properly. However, as the visit went on, my impression of him changed. After his initial walkthrough, Fred went outside to speak with the crew working on my property. One of the employees—a young man who had been doing the attic work—was chatting casually during lunch about normal topics like home life. Fred repeatedly told this employee to quiet down, saying he needed to be “quieter than the traffic.” It became uncomfortable to listen to, as the young worker wasn’t being disrespectful or disruptive—just talking a bit loudly outdoors. This same employee, who I later learned was the youngest and least experienced on the crew, had actually done an incredible job in my attic. While others refused to go up due to the tight space, he handled it carefully and efficiently. Watching Fred reprimand him so harshly for something as small as speaking a little too loud raised serious concerns for me. It made me wonder what Fred was trying to control or hide, especially when the worker seemed to be the only one doing his job correctly and with effort.

Someone from Terminix team tried to bind me into recurring service without proper explanation. Terminix support team later refunded me the money. Ask below questions to person who is selling and get it in video/audio recording for future reference. 1. What exactly is included in the service? 2. Is this a one-time charge or will there be recurring payments? 3. Are there any additional fees beyond the quoted price? 5. How long will I be under contract, if at all? 6. What’s the cancellation policy? 7. Will I receive written documentation of the agreement? 8. What happens if I don’t need the service after a few months? 9. What’s the process for disputing a charge or resolving issues?

Worst service I’ve ever received. I had the “pleasure” of working with Brad and Samuel. Brad told me we had bedbugs infested in my father in laws room. We paid 2500$ and we set up a day for Samuel and his partner to come and exterminate. I got a text saying things we should do. I did a majority of the list and I thought I did okay. For Samuel To come and legit shame me and when I said what can I do he said it’s too late now.. I let it go.. I came back . Told them prior the upstairs had absolutely no contact. And he told me when I got home I was right. None spotted up here. But my side room which had all our clean stuff washed and put in there was flung everywhere like the room was annihilated I had clothing medication tools pieces to equipment tossed completely everywhere as if they were so annoyed they threw it legit everywhere.. I explained how the bedbugs came back the next morning my father had over 40 bites blood on his leg and he’s elderly.. he wanted to sleep in his van outside.. texted and called Brad no response nothing until Samuel came back 14 days later by then I spent roughly 300$ bombing my own bedbugs and treating my home. No response from them.. I did let Brad know a few times.. still have the texts saved. Samuel came back two weeks later. And told my father in law he should be grateful that he has kids who are trying to help solve this. Told me he is not to tell people he wants to sleep in his van it’s not good.. he then said between us keep doing what your doing as it’s working.. (someone paid 2500$) nothing else was done and he said we will set up a 2 week revisit to check the home and never came back. Brad said I was supposed to go through him only for me to tell him that Samuel set up a 2 week visit to check it out and never came back.. end of response from them then.. I was completely taken advantage of and I’m disgusted to be honest. Hoping that I’d get back half my 2500$ back because WE DID THE WORK!!! Contacted someone we paid to do the work and got left in the dark to be honest….

They do good service but they reschedule your scheduling without letting the customer know they did this to me 3 times and then they expect me to accept, The rescheduling without letting me know like the world doesn't work like that I'm sorry Mr. Terminix. It's called people have jobs you can't reschedule somebody without letting that person know especially I paid almost $3000 the services, And then when you call customer service line the hang up on you..... A very not so happy customer I am right now this is ridiculous!
