If zero stars were an option, that would be the rating. We contacted Terminix for a one-time yellow jacket treatment. The technician arrived three hours before the scheduled window, without notice. Fortunately, we were home. He spent about 30 minutes on-site, was unable to locate the nest, and stated he wasn’t sure how to effectively treat the issue. His report reflects this. BUT he claims the treatment was performed. NO TREATMENT WAS PERFORMED! No service agreement was signed at any point, but a credit card was required to book the appointment. The next day, a $246 charge appeared on our account. When I called and explained the situation. I was told a refund would be issued. Later that evening, a service agreement for an annual plan with recurring $67 monthly charges was sent for signature- after the charge had already been processed. When management followed up, they stated a refund would not be issued because the technician reported performing a service. We explained that no service was completed, and offered video evidence from our cameras to confirm. This was dismissed. We then were transferred to the cancellation department to ensure there would be no ongoing charges. We requested a signed copy of the supposed agreement and were told it wasn’t accessible (because it does t exist). We also requested written confirmation of cancellation, which we still have not received. Overall, we were charged for a service that was not performed, enrolled in a plan we did not authorize, and denied a refund despite clear documentation. This experience has been extremely disappointing. Management is incredibly unprofessional. Save yourself a potential headache, and use a different company.

UPDATE: after I canceled my service and asked for a refund for the service that was never performed, I was billed again and the refund did not go through until I called a second time. Then after I received the refund and thought everything was done, they sent me to collections for bills that were for services that didn't exist. Also not once has a member of management reached out like I was told they would on 3 separate occasions. Call center staff is great to talk to and seem to be helpful but all in all this company seems like they have some really shady business practices... first I would like to say, that the service I did receive did seem to help, but overall I would not recommend, they no call-no-showed back to back months and if I didn't have a camera at my front door I would have never known, this may be a one off with the area or the tech that dose my neighborhood but still just a shady practice and I'm sure if it has happened to me its happening to others.

If I could leave zero stars I could, the service was poor, it didn’t work and there was no follow through. I specifically asked about my garden beds as I did not want pesticides on my food and was promised they would not put anything near those beds. They literally placed them between my vegetables plants, I was told the traps be deep enough into the ground that we could mow over them and that my son wouldn’t be able to access them. This was also not done. I had been told someone would be back out to discuss my issues. Never happened. How I’ve called to cancel and have been told I’m trapped for a full year even though I made absolutely certain that would not be the case. I am absolutely beyond frustrated and will make sure all my neighbors know not to use this service. (Plus, I STILL have pests!!!)

Cody did my service and was timely, kind, and thorough. He explained the process to me in a way I could understand. I had to reschedule and he made it quick and easy to get a time slot that worked for me. He worked around my dog’s potty schedule and there were no issues there. I am happy with the service I received!

I had an appointment and they never showed up. I called and asked asked for a call back because that was the only option actually they called but never rang. The technician for my area, Mr. James H., has been servicing my home for close to a year now. From our initial meeting, he always exudes professionalism, but most importantly knowledge. First and foremost, James gave me a “personalized” plan for my pest control issues. And after each visit, he ensures that any concerns I may have are addressed. He also offers recommendations that will assist in sustaining the recurring treatments. Tried engaging with them twice. They schedule time but it's like the left hand doesn't know about right hand. They don't show up, no message or notification about delay or if they can't make it. On my first engagement, person didn't show up, I kept calling them and office people had no way to reach to people on the field. And then some other random day a guy showed up at my house and sent him back as I was busy. If it wasn't recommended by me neighbor, I would have never called them again. Anyways, tried them again, and still the inspector this time was no show. I wonder how they have kept that many stars in Google reviews. Update July 8th. Just saw the response in the review, what a standard template response. Why should I yet again contact them? They should mechanism of following up with all customers they have treated as such. Looking at all recent reviews solidified my point of view that something is not right, and it's not just me.

Charles had to have been one of the most pleasant and professional service technicians that has come to my home! He was extremely knowledgeable and efficient in addressing my concerns about unwanted rodent and insects in and around the premises. Terminex is fortunate to have him as an employee! Extremely Disappointed – Unprofessional and Unreliable I’m beyond frustrated with my experience with Terminix. To date, they have entered my property twice without my knowledge or permission. I was promised a refund by a manager named John, which I have yet to receive. Despite calling him over five times and leaving multiple voicemails, he has not responded or followed up. Today, I had an appointment scheduled between 1–3 PM. Instead, someone showed up unannounced at 9 AM. This has become a pattern of blatant disregard for scheduling and communication. My issue is squirrels in the attic. Chris M., who did my initial inspection, was the only competent and professional person I’ve interacted with at Terminix. We agreed to place traps in both the attic and crawlspace, with the attic being the primary concern. I found out today — over a month later — that no trap has ever been placed in the attic, where we originally saw the squirrel activity. The crawlspace trap was only a precaution, yet that’s apparently the only place one was ever set. John, the manager, initially reached out after the first unauthorized visit, apologized, and offered a partial refund. That refund has not been processed. John also told Chris he would call me Tuesday morning — it’s now Thursday afternoon, and I’ve heard nothing. This level of unprofessionalism is astounding. What’s most upsetting is that someone like Chris, who has been communicative, kind, and honest throughout all of this, will likely feel the fallout of this failed service. He has done his best to advocate on my behalf and follow through on his word — something no one else at this company seems capable of doing. At this point, I am expecting a full or partial refund as previously promised. I cannot recommend Terminix based on my experience.
