Scheduled an appointment for an inspection and was given a two hour window for it, when that window passed without a word from Terminix I called and was told the inspector would reach out to me in just a few minutes. The inspector didn't call, so after 10 minutes I called back and was told that they scheduled an inspector who worked 3 hours away to come out and he wouldn't be able to come do my inspection that day as he didn't do services in my area. I was told there was a system error and that no notice went out to call me so had I not called, nothing would have happened and I would have effectively been ghosted by the company.

I am leaving this review on behalf of my mother, a senior citizen in Mount Vernon, WA. This Termnix office is the closest to where she received service. Working with Terminix has been an absolute nightmare for her. Not only did they not get rid of her rodent problem months ago, she has had trouble getting them to cancel service upon her request. Furthermore, she has received assurances that she would be refunded her statement balance multiple times. However, today she received a collections notice. This is absolutely unacceptable and predatory. Avoid at all costs.

HOORAY!!! JOEL IS BACK!!! The substitute Terminix technician covering for him was fantastic as well. We are so used to the personal care and attention from Joel, he’s hard to replace and was greatly missed! We have been using Terminix for about 6 years and continues to do so…especially now that Joel is back. Joel has been servicing our home since the beginning and keeping it pest free all of this time, except for the recent gap period (either due to reshuffling technician territory, personal time off, or something else…we don’t know nor going to pry). What makes Joel a phenomenal technician is his passionate expertise, attention to details, proactive approach on managing our pest control strategy, passionate customer care, and friendly personality. He’s the whole package. Case in point, several weeks after his quarterly visit, we noticed a mud dauber coming in and out from a crack in our siding. The nest was in the perfect area where it was next to our patio dining table. So whenever we ate outside, wasps would be buzzing around us. So afraid of potentially being stung, we messaged Joel about it and he squeezed us in his busy schedule. He came, examined, sprayed, and knocked out the nest... no more wasps and nest! We didn’t have to spray ourselves and risk potentially getting stung (so, thanks, Joel, for taking on this hard work for us and keeping us safe!). Joel is amazing because he treats us like family and wants to take good care of us. He’s a wonderful human being and fantastic technician! If you need pest control, I highly recommend Terminix and ask for Joel specifically!
