The service provided has been quick and thorough. We had issues with mice in our garage, and within 48 hours, someone was out to set up various traps and bait. The explanations of how to control the issue were detailed and the technician was friendly and professional.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND INCREDIBLY EXPENSIVE! I've been a Terminix customer since 2021 and their service was excellent at the previous branch I used. I moved into the City of Philadelphia in summer of 2023 and kept the service on. Since then, I've had nothing but problems. In August of 2023, I had problems with scheduling. They would come out, charge me, and perform no service, even though I would ask to be rescheduled since a resident needed to be home for the technician to complete the service. (We needed service in our backyard area, so we had to let them inside. There was no exterior access). It's been one year and it continues to happen. The customer service line is ineffective at rescheduling and despite my attempts to talk with the branch, they have denied my requests three times for a phone call back. I've asked for refunds for services that I was charged for, but weren't completed and those requests were denied. Apparently it's their policy to charge regardless and they'll make another trip out to redo the service at no charge. This would be fine if they could effectively schedule, but they can't. I've paid them over $1000 this year alone and I think they've done maybe four services with a resident home, so the rest of the visits were useless. Please take my advice and do not waste your money, especially if you live in the City of Philadelphia. The tech that is assigned to my location is unprofessional and after months of complaining, I just learned that I can submit a request to change the technician.

Terminex is unreliable and very inefficient. I purchased a termite contract a few years ago and have serious concerns how this company is operated. I paid my annual contact amount on time and I have had 4 appointments scheduled for a technician to inspect the traps. No one has shown up, no phone calls or texts as requested. I have spent an inordinate amount of time trying to reschedule appointments. The telephone operators are polite but totally ineffective in getting results. Yesterday, after another no-show I asked for a refund. I was told they don’t issue refunds. I have lost confidence that they will handle any issues I may have with my contract. Stay away from this company.

I’ve had the service for 2 weeks and it’s been terrible! Missed appointments from technician, mysterious billing charges, unable to reach branch directly, all 7 calls stated they will reach out to the branch for a resolve and no call backs! Had to dispute charges through CC. This is my second time using Terminix and having billing issues but at least last year my refund was processed expeditiously. I cancelled today, too many man hours for a simple extermination job! I foresee a class action suit in the future for unethical billing practices.

I recently started up service with Terminix, having used a different local branch with no issues. The initial visit happened and the tech was solid. He listened to my concerns, had solutions. Said a lot of my issues were probably a result of vacancy, but if they continued, I could call them and have them out at no charge. Turns out, getting these people back out is not so easy. Unfortunately, the issues continued. I tried to schedule an appointment to have someone come back out to the property several times. Each time, no one showed up, and no communication was sent to me. Just waiting on the day of and then silence after. I would always call back the next day to find out what happened. Each time, it was exactly the same story: my appointment was requested, but never confirmed and scheduled by the local branch. Even when the local branch called me and offered me specific hours on a specific day, no one showed up, and I was told it was requested, but not confirmed and scheduled. After three no-call no-shows over as many weeks, it was time to cancel my service. Clearly, Terminix wasn't going to do the work, so I saw no reason to pay them. To my surprise, I'm finding out that I have an excessive early termination fee, on top of getting ghosted several times. Laughable service, or would be, if it wasn't so depressing. I will never trust the Terminix name again, and I implore others to look at other pest control services first.

Terminix is an expensive, yet poorly operated company. My initial visit was perfect with lots of promises of what my new contract will provide. After the initial inspection it has been nothing but problems with this company. I was double charged in the 1st month. I had to go through my bank to try to rectify the issue because Terminix didn't know why I was double charged nor did they reverse the unauthorized charge. The customer service representatives are rude and unprofessional. A couple of the representatives had chirping smoke detectors in their background; very ghetto. The concierge that was assigned to my contract doesn't respond to calls nor does he follow up with your concerns as he stated he would during the initial inspection. They schedule quarterly appointments without any notice. Almost $2000 for a one year contract and this company doesn't deliver. The only pro that I have is that the service technicians that have come to my home so far have been great. They come in treat my home and go. I do plan to terminate this contract at the end of its term.

Do not sign with this company. Initial treatment and inspection went well. Every follow up since then has been horrendous. I had no less than 3 missed appointments. Terminix rescheduled my appointments, without alerting me. Every time, they blamed their scheduling system, and continued to miss the new scheduled rate, even after verbal and written confirmation of new appointment times. Escalations went unanswered, their sales manager told me not to call customer service after numerous escalations about my multiple missed appointments. The sales manager promised they would call me back after a tech was promised to come to my home. The appointment was again rescheduled, and only by the grace of the customer service rep I got that day, did the tech who was scheduled to come out come to the appointment. (Late, as a result). The sales manager has not called me back, nor any of the other managers to address my overall displeasure at the horrible scheduling experiences. This company will not take accountability for their performance, and just today, I woke up and had a stray 100 charge in my account from them. Please do not sign with them, you will not have long term support. I was days away from filing a BBB complaint. Update: Terminix has reached out and advised that they have sent my feedback, experience, and issues to the local manager. I have now received additional correspondence, but only for payment issues, concerning an automatic renewal I was not informed about, consulted with, or advised of. I was ghosted by that representative once I advised of my experiences. There has been no contact from Terminix other than to ask for more money and tell me my messages have been forwarded.

Judy was excellent during my scheduled appointment...couldn't be happier with the service that I received. One of the best things about the visit was receiving a detailed explaination of "why" the service call was performed the way it was, and not just the "how" the service call was performed. Those details may seem small to some, but are very important overall. I couldn't be happier with the experience!

I wanted to love this company because of their quick response and initial inspection. Unfortunately, the technician never showed up to do the job, but marked himself as starting the job….. I called him, the inspector and the company multiple times to find out what was going on. The company couldn’t even get ahold of the technician. I asked for a cancellation email and a refund on the same date and it’s been 2 weeks now that I haven’t received either. I called back twice since then and still haven’t received anything. I definitely do not recommend this company. They literally stole from me …
