Terminix of Houston
Houston, TX
TERMINEX has done a great job helping me with my rat and mice in my attic. They trapped, sealed the interior and exterior of my house and secured the premises. Had one enter 50 days later, and they immediately removed it from the trap and inspected again and lived up to their guarantee keeping house rodent free.

I had pest control service through terminix for quite a months. Everything seemed okay and essentially there were no problems... Just like in the beginning of every nightmare. I discovered there was a raccoon in my attic so I called terminix and I asked if they would be able to remove it and they said yes absolutely be happy to help After arriving late for the appointment, the technician decided just to start walking around my home, never knocked on my door, then calls me from his vehicle. He starts to ask questions if I rent or own. He went on to explain that he will only remove the raccoons IF we also pay to have the entry point sealed. I said no thank you once the raccoon is removed I'm going to seal that entry point myself because I'm a capable human being. He said he will not do the job unless I also pay to have the entry point sealed. This type of sales practice is illegal. It's harmful to communities and this business is very well aware of what they are doing and they are still continuing to do it. I filed a complaint with the attorney general and the better Business bureau. anyone who encounters this business or experiences any tying sales practices should do absolutely the same if not take further action. Terminix was contacted and informed of these practices, agreed that they weren't right, yet still continue to do the same thing. Wrong is wrong. This company needs to change their business practices or simply get shut down. I'm surprised there's not a class action lawsuit against this business already for this exact same thing. This would be the top of my list for buyer beware!

The North Houston Branch is inconsiderate and has a terrible scheduling system. They schedule your appointment but do not tell you they scheduled you until 1-2 days before they are coming out. No one ever checks to see if you are even available that day. They will also send a text message they are coming and then do not show up. This has happened mire than once. When we call about the appointment for today we are told the appointment has been rescheduled from 8/20 to 8/27 with no explanation and no notice of thechange. I'm not quick to give a bad review but this is ridiculous. We have called and talked to them about this multiple times. If it wasn't for the technicians who actually does the work, we would have gone with another company 6 months ago. We are told today our concern was going to be given to the Branch Manager Keith Walton. Let's see what happens. Please do not ask me to email support like I see in other post. Please have Mr. Walton contact us as we were promised. Do not ask me to email support as you have done in other post. Please have Mr. Walton or his delegate contact us as we were promised.

Disappointed to the max! I never write reviews, but this deserves it. Richie Barns was my sales man, GUARANTEED the rodent living between my walls would be extracted no matter what it took. I was quoted a little over 2k, something it was so painful to come up with since that’s around what I make monthly. The safety of my children comes first and I was assured it would be taken care of. A cage was placed on what seemed to be the point of entry by a THIRD party NOT Terminix! They came to check on it daily for about a week. They didn’t catch anything, so it was removed, they did patch the hole and never returned. The critter remained, I tried Mr Barns several times and gave me the run arounds. Mr Barns had the nerve to offer to replace my entire chimney for another 4K!!!!! I rejected the proposal, requested a refund after deducting whatever the value of the “work” they did . Nothing… I requested for an email with specific breakdown of everything that got done, nothing… I called the company and explained the situation. I escalated my claim, nothing… HORRIBLE COMPANY! Stay away from them, they’ll rob you.

Terminex comes out to my house quarterly, and last week I requested they come inside the house to spray as well as the outside. After he was done with the inside (he had already treated my outside perimeter) I walked him outside and noticed he never treated under my front porch. That's one of the first things I told him about when he came. He said he had run out of the wasp treatment right before he got to my place but could use some something else. I had some active and inactive wasps and dirt daubers. So I asked him to do that, and my husband went outside and noticed more wasp nests on the side of the house that he should have taken care of but didn't . He asked him to treat that as well. It just seemed as though he did not do a thorough job outside, and had I not been there (which I usually am not) I would have still been fighting wasps on my porch. I don't like to hover over people as they work, but I feel I will have to with the Terminex technicians.

Darrell has been my tech and I am very happy with his service. He is responsive and thorough. Overall, I am very happy with Terminix.

Terminix does an OK job, however one area they need to change is how they set your service date. They never ask the customer for his availability, but arbitrarily set a date and time and only give you 1-2 days notice. This is hardly good customer relations,

I have been a Terminix client for years because of the great and thorough service protecting my home from the unwanted pest. The technician communicates prior to arrival to let me know when on the way. During the service they let me know if there are any issues to resolve. Service technician is friendly and professional.
