Since I have dogs, he texts when he gets here so I can put the doggie door in. In other words he is very considerate and friendly which is so helpful in today's world. We have used Terminix for over 10 years. They have always provided impeccable service. A big part of our staying with them is their consistency and excellent results. Our technician, Ryan, is outstanding! He always contacts us prior to service, follows up and is there if we need supplemental treatment (which has RARELY happened). He encouraged us to sign up for mosquito treatment and while we were uncertain about whether treatment would work, it has been fabulous!!! We use Terminix for pest, exclusion and termite services. Unfortunately our experience has been that scheduling and customer service is very disorganized and unreliable. Even after asking if we can be notified about appointments days ahead of time, we usually receive no prior notification when a service appointment has been scheduled, and no reminder in the days leading up to the appointment. The only notification we receive is a text from the tech usually *minutes* before arrival. Recently, we also had a no-show, no-notification on an appointment (that we had to re-schedule from the surprise appointment on Christmas Eve that was made unbeknownst to us) only for a different tech to show up 2 days later with only a 10 minute warning. The techs themselves are usually helpful and friendly enough, but it is the management and scheduling that seems lacking. To add, almost every interaction feels like we are being up-sold. It is not unusual for it to be more difficult to schedule our annual or quarterly service appointments at the same time as being able to get a consultation appointment for a new service (one that was suggested to us, not asked for) almost immediately. Coupled with a fairly dramatic increase in our pricing this past year, these specific shortcomings have led us to start looking elsewhere for pest service. On a positive note, we have a great experience every time with our pest tech, Manny. He is incredibly helpful and friendly - and he takes initiative on things above and beyond his job description.
